Notification area icon states

The notification area icon indicates the overall status of all managed storage systems. Its appearance changes depending on the status of the most severely affected system among all managed storage systems.

The following table shows the five possible states of the notification area icon, in order of increasing severity. The icon state represents the health status of an individual storage system or an individual node of any active/active pair.

Icon	Status	Description
	Normal	All managed storage systems are up and running with no problems.
	Warning	There are minor issues with at least one storage system, but nothing that requires immediate attention.
	Error	Problems that might eventually result in downtime require attention in at least one storage system.
	Critical	One or more storage systems are not serving data or cannot be contacted. Immediate attention is required.
	Disabled	Monitoring is disabled.
